12 acre smallholding in the Tamar Valley (near Bere Alston)
"We are looking to bring it back into a productive state after years of neglect. "We are looking for someone (or people) to be involved on a regular basis managing the land. Some ideas include setting up a micro-dairy, lamb production, natural beekeeping, apple and nut orchard production, perennial vegetable production but open to other ideas. At the moment there is someone else's sheep grazing it but they are not there for the long term. "We are willing to invest any necessary capital requirements and rent the land for little or no cost and are looking for people with a willingness and initiative to develop a variety of small-scale enterprises. "At the moment accommodation would not be possible but hopefully the enterprises would be able to generate an income over time. Some of the values guiding this project are food production and rural economic revitalization. Please get in touch with Julian: julian.harrison5@gmail.com if this is of interest and to discuss."
