TRAINEE VACANCY at SHILLINGFORD ORGANICS nr. EXETER

"We are a commercial organic vegetable, fruit and herb enterprise. We grow 45 acres of vegetables, selling through our Vegetable Box Scheme, Exeter Farmers’ Market and local retail outlets. We produce crops 52 weeks of the year and also have fruit trees in an Agroforestry system and chickens for egg production.

We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic apprentice to join our growing team for seven months from April till October 2016. We are able to offer an informal apprenticeship programme providing training in all aspects of Organic growing and business. We provide onsite accommodation. Working hours are 32 hours per week for accommodation and food. We also offer £50 per week as a living allowance.
