PART-TIME VEG ASSISTANT at GROWN GREEN, nr. BATH

"Grown Green is currently looking to recruit a part-time assistant grower, to join this exciting and award-winning sustainable market garden near Bath; from March/April 2016 until at least October (possibility of longer-term work), for 1 or 2 days a week (this will be arranged to suit both parties).

Hours are flexible and can be changed according to applicant’s circumstances (eg childcare/other commitments); local applicants may prefer to split hours over a few days.

Hourly rate is £7.50-£8/hour, depending on skill and experience.

Some knowledge of horticulture/gardening is desirable; a willingness to learn and good worth ethic is essential. Work here can also count towards the Soil Association’s Future Grower scheme if you have another placement to make up the minimum hours requirement.
